Sowing Favour
- Abel’s offering attracted God’s favour. Pray that we will seriously consider our giving to the Lord; pray that we will be more intentional about honouring God with our offerings.
- Jacob sought Esau’s favour with an offering. Pray for the wisdom of sowing favour to mend broken relationships in our lives or pacify angry hearts.
- Abigail’s gift kept David from bloodshed. Pray that we will have this kind of wisdom that enables us to make right judgements about the offerings we give. Some of our offerings may save lives.
- Abigail’s gift was timely. Pray that we will not miss our favour because of procrastination. God wants us to understand the times of favour that He has appointed, so that we act within the same.
