Praying for Malawi and unreached people groups

a) Praying for Malawi as we draw close to the elections

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding.” – Psalm 111:10

“You, Lord, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked.” – Psalm 12:7–8

“The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” – Psalm 121:8

“The Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” – 2 Thessalonians 3:3

• Pray that each candidate will seek God’s wisdom and guidance in their decisions and leadership aspirations.

• Pray that the Lord will raise leaders who will prioritize addressing poverty, justice, and the well-being of the people.

• Pray against sudden deaths, accidents, and violence during the campaigns and election period.

• Pray that candidates will focus on real national issues rather than personal attacks or divisive rhetoric.

b) Praying for unreached people groups

“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?” – Romans 10:14

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you.” – Ezekiel 36:26

“Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” – Matthew 9:38

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations.” – Matthew 28:19

• Pray for the Unreached Muslim Groups (Dangaleat, Daza, Disa, Fanya, Fongoro, Fulani Adamawa & Fulani Bagirmi): Ask God to break spiritual strongholds, open their hearts to the gospel, and send workers to share Christ among them.

• Pray for hearts to turn from darkness to light, for peace to prevail, and for God’s Kingdom to advance across the nation.

• Pray that the Lord will send more labourers, provide resources, and protect those working among these groups.

• Pray that Christian Communities (French & English-Speaking Groups) will be mature united, and bold to reach their unreached neighbours and be effective witnesses for Christ.
