Praying for Urban Missions Pre-Conference Activities
D. Praying for College Outreaches (10,17, 24th October, 2025) & Whistle Stop Crusades (18th October, 2025)
Main Prayer Point: Pray that God’s presence will go with the church in all these evangelistic meetings and outreaches, drawing people to Himself.
1. Praying for God’s presence and guidance: Pray that the Lord’s presence will go with ICA in all the outlined outreach activities, guiding every decision and action of the teams.
Exodus 33:14 – “And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (KJV)
2. Praying for open hearts and spiritual awakening: Ask God to prepare the hearts of the people to be reached, so that it brings revival, spiritual hunger, and acceptance of Christ Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
Acts 16:14 – “And a certain woman named Lydia… whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.”
Acts 2:47 – “Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”
3. Praying for boldness, clarity, and unity in evangelism: Pray that all team members will preach the Word with boldness, clarity, and work together in one spirit for the success of the mission and advancement of the Gospel.
Acts 4:29 – “And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word.”
Philippians 1:27 – “That ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.”
4. Praying for protection and fruitful impact: Pray that God protects all participants and that the outreach bears lasting fruit in the lives of those reached.
John 15:16 – “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”
