Isaiah 60:2 

“For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and His glory will be seen upon you.”

Romans 10:14–15 

“How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!’”

1. Pray for Nations in Violent Conflict, War, and Humanitarian Crisis: Pray for God’s mercy and intervention in countries suffering war, persecution, and severe humanitarian crises. Lift up

a. Sudan, where brutal conflict and atrocities continue; Ukraine, still ravaged by war;

b. DR Congo, suffering violence and displacement;

c. Myanmar, facing military oppression; and the Israel–Gaza region, where ongoing conflict continues to claim innocent lives.

d. Pray for protection of civilians, peace, justice, provision for the displaced, and healing for nations torn apart by violence and trauma.

2. Pray for Nations Facing Political Unrest, Instability, and Social Tension: Pray for peace, wise leadership, and stability in countries facing political turmoil and civil unrest. These include Tanzania, Haiti, Niger, Mali, the Sahel region, and Ethiopia. Pray that violence will not escalate, that justice will prevail, and that God will raise peacemakers and righteous leadership.

3. Pray for Nations Facing Natural Disasters, Climate Crises, and Catastrophes: Pray for comfort, recovery, and restoration for nations struck by disasters. These include the Philippines affected by typhoons, flooding, and landslides; Afghanistan, Japan and Indonesia facing earthquakes and volcanic activity; and Caribbean and Pacific nations battling storms and rising sea levels. Pray for grieving families, relief for the displaced, rebuilding of communities, and provision of resources. Pray for governments and aid agencies to act swiftly and with compassion.

4. Pray Against Human Trafficking, Drug Abuse, and Exploitation Worldwide: Pray for God to expose and dismantle networks of human trafficking, child exploitation, forced labour, and modern slavery, affecting millions worldwide. Pray for

a. deliverance for victims trapped in sexual trafficking, child marriage, and forced migration routes.

b. nations battling drug abuse epidemics, such as the opioid crisis in North America, rising substance abuse in parts of Africa and Asia, and the exploitation of vulnerable youth.

c. rescue, rehabilitation, justice, and the healing of individuals, families, and communities.

5. Pray for the Church to Respond Urgently with the Gospel and Compassion: Pray that the church worldwide will discern the urgency of the times and embrace God’s heart for the nations. Pray that believers will move from mere obedience to passionate mission, becoming labourers in God’s harvest field — ready to go, send, give, pray, and witness wherever God has placed or is calling them. Pray that the church will carry the message of Christ with compassion, courage, and conviction to a broken world in need of hope and salvation
