Praying for Malawi and Angola
a) Praying for Malawi :
“And My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.” Isaiah 32:18.
“I will give you the rain for your land in its season… that you may gather in your grain, new wine, and oil.” Deuteronomy 11:14.
1. Thank God for Malawi—thank Him for preserving our nation in peace and making Malawi a testimony to other nations that the Lord is truly with us through every season.
2. Pray for peaceful, life-giving rains that do not destroy homes, crops, or lives. Pray against cyclones, floods, and dry spells, and ask the Lord to grant Malawi a good and timely rainfall.
3. Pray that the Lord will guide farmers on the right time to plant and the right seeds to use so that the nation will experience a bumper harvest. Pray for the availability and accessibility of fertilizer, seeds, and other resources, and pray against corruption and any delays that could affect the harvest.
4. Pray for God’s wisdom, understanding, and divine strategy upon Malawi’s leaders as they make decisions to revive the economy and address national challenges
5. Continue praying for lasting peace across Malawi that God will guard our borders, communities, and leadership with His presence.
6. Pray for unity in the Body of Christ, that the church will focus on soul-winning rather than division, materialism, or doctrinal conflict, and that believers will boldly proclaim the soon coming of Christ.
b) Praying for Angola
Matthew 24:14: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
Psalm 2:8: “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.”
Romans 10:14: “How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?”

• Heikum (Kedi), Holu, Kungu-Ekoka, and Kung-Tsumkwe, where only 10% identify as Christian. Pray that God will break spiritual strongholds, open hearts, and raise witnesses who can share the gospel in their languages.
• Many of these groups (Heikum, Kungu-Ekoka, Kwandu, Kuvale) live in remote areas with limited access to churches or Scripture. Pray for open doors for missionaries, translators, and radio/ audio gospel messages to reach them.
• Pray that God will strengthen the Angolan church to continue reaching unreached tribes. Pray for unity among denominations, protection for missionaries, and the boldness to reach those who have not yet heard the gospel clearly.
• Pray for spiritual growth, sound teaching, and protection from syncretism (mixing Christianity with traditional beliefs) especially with those tribes were enthic religions dominate.
• Pray that among all unreached and partially reached groups—especially those practicing ethnic religions—God will bring healing from generational fears, ancestral worship, witchcraft practices, and cultural bondages that keep people from knowing Christ. Ask the Lord to reveal His power through dreams, visions, miracles, and personal encounters that lead entire families and communities to salvation.
