CHILDREN’S CENTRE -PRAYER POINTS
- Thanksgiving for the vision
- "Enter his gates with thanksgiving" (Psalm 100:4)
- "Thus far the Lord has helped us" (1 Samuel 7:12)
- Up until two years ago the vision of building a Children’s centre was just an idea. This vision is slowly becoming a reality. Ground-breaking was done and construction started. The project is at slab level This far has the Lord helped us and do trust that the good work he has started he will bring it unto completion We have every reason to give thanks to God for what He has done and is doing in our midst.
- We give thanks to God for the guidance and wisdom He has given to our leaders, planners, and all decisionmakers to steer the project in the direction He wants it to go
- Provision of financial resources, materials, and skilled workers.
- Favor with government agencies and supporters
- Prayer for Funding, Gifts, and Provision
- “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." — James 1:17.
- Let’s ask the Gracious God and Provider of all good things, to meet our financial needs and resources for this Children’s Centre. May he open hearts to give, stir generosity in our community, and multiply what is offered for his own purposes. Let us pray that the Lord will lead us to wise stewards and bring partners who will support this work. We trust in Your provision Lord.
- Prayer for Safety During Construction
- Psalm 121:7-8 (KJV) promises that the Lord will preserve you from all evil, protect your soul, and watch over your "going out and you’re coming in" from this time forth and forevermore.
- Let us ask the Lord Jesus, the Keeper and Protector of our lives to protect every worker, contractor, and volunteer on this project. May he alone guard them from harm, guide their hands, and keep equipment and materials safe. May he bring everyone home safely each day.
- Pray for excellence, safety, and speed in all construction phases
- God’s presence to fill the centre and His purpose to be fulfilled through it
- Prayer for Vision, Planning, and Governance
- “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you” James 1:5.
- Pray that the Sovereign Lord, will grant wisdom to the leaders, board members, and planners of this project. Pray that he will guide them in setting priorities, policies, and strategy that honour God and serve the children well. Pray that they will be faithful stewards of time, funds, and influence. May their decisions reflect justice, mercy, and humility.
- Prayer for the Children
- "Let the little children come to me” (Matthew 19:14, Mark 10:14).
- Let us lift the children to the father of compassion that he will care for them, surround with safety, nurture their minds and hearts, and meet their needs for friendship, and security. Pray that they will discover their worth and grow in wisdom, faith, and joy. May the Lord bless those who teach them with patience, creativity, and love.
- Prayer for Parents and Families
- “And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord”. Ephesians 6:4
- Pray for the parents and families connected to this Centre. May the Lord grant parents wisdom, patience, and hope as they care for their children. May the Centre be a partner to families, showing God’s care in practical and spiritual ways. Declare a blessing over the children and families who will benefit from the centre
- Declaration for Community Impact and Long-term Fruit
- O God, let this Centre be a light in the community —bringing hope, support, and transformation. May children grow into healthy, faithful adults who love the Lord and serve others. Let lasting fruit be evident from generation to generation.
