Praying for Malawi

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”

1. Thank God for keeping our country in peace amidst all the turmoil that is going on around the world. Pray that Malawi will remain a peaceful country.

2. Let us continue to pray for the leaders of Malawi that God will instil in them a love and passion for the country and that they will lead with wisdom and integrity.

3. Pray for Malawi to rise above issues of corruption that continue to deter the progress of development in the country.

4. Pray particularly for the health sector of Malawi. With recent issues arising concerning challenges in service provision and availability of healthcare workers, pray that God will give leaders in this sector wisdom to navigate these issues in a way that will effectively bring change.

Praying for People Groups of Chad

...the people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light, and for those dwelling in the region and shadow of death, on them a light has dawned.”

Romans 10:15 (NIV)

1. Most of these groups are either predominantly Islam or practicing ethnic religions. Pray that the light of the gospel will penetrate mightily through people groups.

2. Pray for signs and wonders to manifest among these people groups that will draw many into the kingdom of God.

3. Christians living in these areas are often persecuted. Pray for strength to endure persecution and that the Lord will continue to keep them safe from harm.

4. Pray specifically for missionaries working among these people groups in Chad. Pray that God will give them grace and favour that will help them boldly declare the gospel of Jesus Christ.
