Have Mercy

Romans 11:25-36

25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and in this way[e] all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. 27 And this is[f] my covenant with them when I take away their sins.”………….

Thanksgiving and Praise

1. Thank God, that we are recipients of His mercy and that we can extend the same to others.

2. Thank God, for members who appreciate God’s mercy and worship Him by showing mercy to those who do not deserve it.

3. Thank God for those who have dealt with shame in their lives and are able to make themselves vulnerable to others.

4. Thank God for using Pastor Peter Ahn to deliver a powerful and practical message to ICA.

Prayer

1. God’s mercy is beyond human understanding. Pray that we will believe that God is working in His mercy even when we cannot see it. Pray that we will stop advising God on how to handle our issues. God knows what we need.

2. God’s mercy redeems our failures. Pray that ICA shall become a community where we are all free to share our failures. Pray that shame shall not take the upper hand in our lives. Declare that we are redeemed from shame.

3. God’s mercy leads us into worship. Pray that we will determine to show mercy to those we feel do not deserve it.

4. Others have never shown mercy to themselves and they are full of hurt. Pray for everyone hurting at ICA that they will open up and stop hiding behind spirituality.

5. Bitter people are not able to extend mercy to others. Pray that God will convict ICA members that are bitter, to be intentional about extending mercy to those that hurt them.
