Praying for Malawi

James 3:17

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.

Proverbs 3:5-6

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

1. Pray that the Malawi Government will find a lasting solution to the fuel crisis. Pray that they will access wisdom from above that is first of all pure and sincere.

2. Thank God for the harvesting season and thank Him for what the nation has been able to harvest. Pray that the harvest will be preserved from any kinds of losses.

3. Pray for the national examinations that students are preparing for. Pray that students will know how to prepare for exams and teachers will properly guide them for best results. Pray against any anomalies in the administration of these exams.

4. Thank God, that Malawi has enjoyed God’s mercy over the years. Pray that Malawians will appreciate God’s mercy in its various forms and learn to be merciful to each other. Pray against the bitterness that passes on from generation to generation.

Praying for People Groups of Côte d'Ivoire

Isaiah 9:2

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.

1. Pray that people groups of Côte d'Ivoire will see the great light that makes all darkness vanish. Pray that the light will be so obvious that they will be attracted to it.

2. Pray that adequate resources will be mobilized to reach every part off the country that needs light to penetrate the deep darkness.

3. Thank God, for those who have already seen the light. Pray that they will be proactive in reaching out to all the unreached people groups.
