PRAYING FOR MALAWI’S REVIVAL & AFRICA PEOPLE GROUPS
Praying for Malawi
1. Pray for spiritual awakening, revival, repentance, and holiness in the Church: Pray that God will revive His Church, restore a passion for prayer, repentance, holiness, and renewed devotion to Christ. Pray against the spirit of lukewarmness that is dominating many believers in Malawi.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
2. Pray for strong discipleship, youth revival, and sound biblical teaching: Pray that believers, especially young people, will be firmly grounded in God's Word, grow spiritually, and become faithful disciples and future leaders of the Church.
2 Timothy 2:2 (KJV)"And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."
3. Pray for love, unity, Godly leadership, and integrity in the Church: Pray that pastors, church leaders, and congregations will walk in humility, integrity, love and unity, becoming effective models of the body of Christ. Pray against divisions in the Church including Malawi Assemblies of God and that rather love, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost will flow/prevail among brethren thus inviting the divine presence of God upon the Church and effective Missions work.
Psalm 133:1 (KJV)"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"
4. Pray for effective missions support, evangelism, and the power of the Holy Spirit over the church in Malawi: Pray that the Holy Spirit will empower the Church to evangelize, make disciples, support missions, and reach every community with the Gospel of Christ. Pray that the church will thirst and hunger after the Preaching of the Word and the presence of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 1:8 (KJV). "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
Praying for the people groups of Nigeria (Africa, West & Central)

1. Pray for spiritual growth and revival among the majority believing populations of Nigeria; Pray that the Christian communities among the Eket, Eki, Ekpeye, Eleme, Emai, Engenni, and Enwang who have a range of 72-96% Christian majority peoples will grow in faith, holiness, and spiritual maturity, becoming strong witnesses and the light for Christ. Influencing the rest of the Nigerian people groups.
Colossians 1:10 (KJV) "That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;"
2. Pray for the salvation of Nigeria’s unreached peoples: Pray that the Ekpari, Eloyi, Enwan, Epie, and others who still follow ethnic religions and only have a range of 6-44% Christian populations, will come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Pray that Christ will reflect in the lives of the minority Christians as the salt of the population.
John 14:6 (KJV) "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
3. Pray for more workers and effective discipleship: Pray that God will raise more workers (pastors, evangelists, and disciple-makers) who will teach God's Word faithfully and establish strong believers among these people groups of Nigeria.
Luke 10:2 (KJV) "Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest."
4. Pray for great harvest of souls, spiritual freedom from bondages, unity and love among believers: Pray that God will break spiritual strongholds and yokes, unite believers in love, and bring many families and communities to Jesus Christ and establishing their faith in Him.
Revelation 7:9 (KJV) "After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;"
