Pray that God in His mercies and righteousness will restore our nation, refresh our land, heal our nation from every form of corruption, poverty, injustice, and division. Pray for patriotism in the citizenry. Pray that Malawians/the nation will hate evil and do good. Pray that God will reign supreme as our God so that Malawi may take its real place glorifying the God of Jacob among nations.

Psalm 85:6, KJV: "Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?" Habakkuk 3:2, KJV:"O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy." Psalm 80:18–19, KJV: "So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name. Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved."

2. Pray for spiritual awakening, revival, repentance, and holiness in the Church: Pray that God will revive His Church, restore a passion for prayer, repentance, holiness, and renewed devotion to Christ. Pray against the spirit of tradition and lukewarmness that is dominating many believers in Malawi.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

3. Pray for strong discipleship, youth revival, and sound biblical teaching shaping future leaders for Malawi: Pray that believers, especially young people, will be firmly grounded in God's Word, grow spiritually, and become faithful disciples and future leaders of the nation and the Church.

2 Timothy 2:2 (KJV)"And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."

4. Pray for love, unity, Godly leadership, and integrity in the Church: Pray that pastors, church leaders, and congregations will walk in humility, integrity, love and unity, becoming effective models of the body of Christ. Pray for continued unity of the church in Malawi (including Malawi Assemblies of God) as the body of Christ. Pray that love, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost will flow/prevail among brethren thus inviting the divine presence of God upon the Church and effective Missions work.

Psalm 133:1 (KJV)"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"

Praying for the people groups of Nigeria (Africa, West & Central)

1. Pray giving thanks to God for Church growth and prayer for spiritual maturity. Praise God for the strong Christian presence among the Ukpe-Bayobiri, Ukwuani-Aboh, Umon, Urhobo (Christian population range of 92-99%), and other believing communities. Pray that these churches will remain rooted in God's Word, grow in faith and holiness, and become effective witnesses to neighbouring unreached people groups.

Colossians 2:6–7, KJV:"As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving."

2. Pray for the salvation of people groups following ethnic religions and Islam. Several people groups, including the Ukue-Ehuen, Ukwa, Uneme, Ura, and Ungwai, remain influenced by ethnic religions or Islam (Christian minority range of 6-33%). Pray that the Holy Spirit should remove spiritual blindness, reveal Jesus Christ to them, and bring many to repentance and to the knowledge of the Father and His Son and saviour Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 9:2, KJV: "The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined."

3. Pray for faithful Christian leaders and effective Gospel ministry. Pray that God will raise and equip faithful labourers to preach the Gospel, disciple new believers, and establish Christ-centred churches among every people group in Nigeria.

Matthew 9:37–38, KJV: "Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."

4. Pray for the spread of the gospel, preaching and the fulfilment of the Great Commission among all People Groups. Nigeria's rich ethnic diversity presents both opportunities and challenges for evangelism. Pray that every tribe and language will hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ, experience the transforming power of the Cross of Jesus Christ, and become worshippers of the Almighty God of Heaven.

Revelation 7:9, KJV: "After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands."
