“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matthew 24:14 (KJV)

Praise God for the remarkable growth of the Church in Laos despite government restrictions and persecution. Indigenous believers faithfully lead churches and house fellowships, but there remains a great need for trained leaders and strong discipleship for new Christians. Much of Laos is still unreached, with Buddhism and tribal religions remaining dominant among many ethnic groups. Although foreign missionaries are restricted, Christian workers continue serving through education, development, and humanitarian ministries. 

Prayers:

1. Pray giving thanks to God for Laos’ church growth and strength amidst faced persecution. Pray thanking our God Almighty for the remarkable growth of His Church in Laos despite persecution and government restrictions. Pray that the Holy Ghost will continue to strengthen believers with boldness, steadfast faith, and complete dependence upon Him. Pray that God will see His Church in Laos continue to flourish in the name of Jesus Christ to the glory of His Kingdom. 

James 1:2–4, KJV: "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."

2. Pray for inspired Church leaders, passionate new believers, and effective discipleship. Pray asking the Lord to raise a faithful five-fold ministry to lead both the recognized churches and house church fellowships. Ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen new believers so that they remain rooted in Christ, mature and equipped to become faithful disciples who will share the Gospel with others. 

2 Timothy 2:2, KJV: "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."

3. Pray for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to reach every Unreached People Group in Laos. Pray that God will let the light of the Gospel reach every unreached ethnic group, village, and community in Laos. Pray that God will open doors for effective evangelism through local believers, Christian workers, media ministries, and Bible translation so that every person may hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.

4. Pray for effective Bible translation, empowered Christian workers, and national revival in Laos. Pray that God will bless every Bible translation project, protect and empower Christian workers serving the people of Laos. Pray that there will be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the entire nation of Laos. Pray that the Word of God will be available in every language, that many souls will be saved, and that Laos will experience lasting spiritual revival in Jesus Christ’s Name to the glory of God’s Kingdom.
