Attitudes of Great Harvesters Part 2: The Faith to Start

And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Mark 2:5

While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease Genesis 8:22

but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls. Hebrews 10:38-39

1. Thank God for His goodness, protection, faithfulness, and provision in our lives. As Psalm 100:5 declares, "For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations." Thank God for His guidance and the message we received, which directs our steps. Praise the Lord for instructing and teaching us in the way we should go. Praise him for His counsel with His loving eye on us.

2. Pray that God gives ICA members the boldness to take the first step in every great harvest project, knowing that without starting, there can be no harvest.

3. Pray that God will grant us wisdom and faith-driven decision-making so that we may overcome fear and indecision and move forward in our callings.

4. Pray that ICA members will act in faith, trusting in God's provision and power for every endeavor. Pray against procrastination, fear and unnecessary analysis.

5. Pray for unwavering trust in God’s promises. Ask God to strengthen the faith of all of us as harvesters at ICA, that we may believe in our God-given dreams and step out with confidence, knowing that God will bless our efforts.
