Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer's; he makes me tread on my high places. (Habakkuk 3:17-19 )

And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in. (Isaiah 58:12)

I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hoards in secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who call you by your name. (Isaiah 45:3)

1. Praise God for Malawi’s Resilience and Progress – Thank the Lord for preserving Malawi despite challenges like economic struggles and natural disasters such as the recent cyclones, Chido and Jude. Praise God for the resilience of our people and for those he has put in place to take the lead in pressing forward against all odds. Pray for unwavering focus on Malawi’s development and its transition to a middle-income country.

2. Pray for Economic Empowerment and Industrial Growth – Intercede that financial barriers be removed so that Malawians, including youth and women can lead in stimulating production, manufacturing, and wealth creation. Pray for the rise of skilled innovators who will expand exports and strengthen the economy.

3. Pray for the Mining Sector and Forex Generation – Ask God for transparency, sustainability, and responsible management of Malawi’s mining industry. Pray against illegal mining and for the capacity to add value to Malawi’s minerals, maximizing forex earnings for national growth. Pray for the effective integration of mining with tourism and agriculture through the ATM strategy to boost national prosperity.

4. Pray for the Victims of Cyclone Jude – Lift up those affected, asking God to comfort them and meet their needs. Pray for wisdom, resources, and resilience to rebuild stronger communities.

Praying for People Groups of Chad

And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest Luke 10:2

1. Pray for great revival on the Church in Chad to cleanse, empower and send out to the lost especially the nominal Christians and those caught up in Islam and ethnic religions.

2. Pray for great outpouring of God’s Spirit on each of the people group above bringing conviction of sin.

3. Pray for clear, biblical dreams and visions and revelations drawing people to Jesus.

4. Pray for powerful, biblical signs and wonders of healing, deliverance and miracles.

5. Pray that God will send more workers into His harvest in obedience to Luke 10:2.

6. Pray for great people movements to Christ and Church Planting Movements in Chad. Pray that new converts will be biblically discipled and will grow in Jesus Christ.
