“And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.” Isaiah 58:12 (KJV)

 “And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.” Jeremiah 23:3 (KJV)

1. Praying for Spiritual rebuilding and restoration

Pray that God will help us to identify and rebuild the ancient ruins in our spiritual lives, homes, and communities. Pray that God will strengthen our foundations and restore the order and intimacy He intended between Himself and His people.

2. Praying for the healing of breaches in the society

Pray that God will use us to identify and repair the breaches—spiritual, moral, and societal—that allow darkness to enter our lives and the nation. Pray that God will use us as instruments of healing and protection.

“I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” Ezekiel 22:30 (KJV)

3. Praying for restoration of communities and cities

Pray that the Lord will empower His church to be a restorer of streets and dwellings. Pray that God will help ICA members to be a source of hope, peace, and transformation in our neighborhoods, cities, and nations.

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” Matthew 5:14 (KJV)

4. Praying for a return to true worship

Pray that God will bring us back to sincere worship—worship that is not just routine or religious, but that flows from a heart of compassion, holiness, and truth. Pray that the Holy Spirit will purify our motives and make us genuine followers of Christ.

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24 (KJV)

5. Praying for spiritual integration to combine Godly worship with justice and compassion

Pray that ICA members will be watchful not to divorce worship from compassion. Pray that God will inspire our fasting and worship to lead us into action showing love mercy, justice and humility. Pray that we will never turn a blind eye to injustice and brokenness around us.

“Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” Isaiah 58:6 (KJV)
