1. Praying for The Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Enson Lwesya & Family– Praying for God’s comfort, strength and triumph.

"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him." 1 Thessalonians 4:13–14 (KJV)

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27 (KJV)

1. Thank God for the promise of eternal life. Thank God for the promise of resurrection and eternal life through Jesus Christ. Pray that all those grieving will find hope in the resurrection and the assurance that those who sleep in Jesus shall rise again. Pray that those who have lost their loved ones shall have the understanding that those who sleep in Christ are with God the Almighty in His Presence.

2. Thanksgiving for God’s Comfort and Presence

Thank God for being the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. Pray that the Pastor and the entire bereaved family will deeply experience His comforting presence, knowing He will never leave nor forsake them.

"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God." 2 Corinthians 1:3–4 (KJV)

3. Strength, Healing, and Peace in the Midst of Grief

Pray that God will strengthen, heal, and uphold their brokenhearts with His peace that surpasses all understanding. Declare that fear, anxiety, and despair shall not prevail in Jesus Name.

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)

"The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit." Psalm 34:18 (KJV)

2. Praying for the Men’s Ministry

a) Deeper Fellowship with God & a Life of Purity

Pray that men will pursue a deeper, intimate walk with God through prayer and the Word, growing in grace, and living in purity, free from secret sins and temptations.

"That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;" Philippians 3:10 (KJV)

"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able..." 1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV)

b) Godly fatherhood & family unity

Pray that men will lead their families with love, wisdom, and compassion, reflecting and modelling God’s heart in fatherhood and nurturing unity, strong relationships and bonds in their families.

"Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him." Psalm 103:13 (KJV)

"And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness." Colossians 3:14 (KJV)

c) Unity among Men & and in the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ:

Pray for spiritual unity among men in Lilongwe and beyond—that they may be sanctified, walk in truth, obey God’s call and boldly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. "That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee..." John 17:21 (KJV)

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ..." Romans 1:16 (KJV)

d) Success in Men's Ministry & deliverance for those struggling with addictions

Pray for the success of MANPACK 2025 and Men’s Day from September 26 to 28

for Spirit-led leadership, and that men struggling with various addictions or bondage will be set free, healed and restored in Christ.

"Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established." Proverbs 16:3 (KJV)

"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." John 8:36 (KJV)
