BRIEF SUMMARY: Germany, once a stronghold of Christianity, now faces a deep spiritual crisis. The number of professing Christians has sharply declined from 97% in 1960 to under 53% today, with church attendance dwindling and congregations closing their doors. Division exists within the Body of Christ, yet God is using this time to unite believers in prayer movements and regional missions. Amid growing secularism, occultism, and religious confusion, there remains hope for spiritual revival through God’s intervention. Germany’s wealth, influence, and strategic position in Europe could greatly benefit the Kingdom if led by righteous, uncompromising leaders grounded in biblical truth.

Simultaneously, the influx of migrants, students, and refugees—some from unreached people groups—presents an extraordinary mission opportunity. Many come with no knowledge of Christ, while others bring vibrant expressions of Christian faith. The Muslim population, numbering over five million, includes thousands who come to Christ each year, even as others convert to Islam. Now is a prophetic time for the German Church to awaken, to reach both locals and foreigners, and to disciple a new generation.

 PRAYERS:

1) Pray that God raises bold laborers and faithful witnesses who will shine His light in this pivotal nation of Germany.

2) Pray for Germany’s national revival and spiritual awakening

3) Pray for unity and power in the German Church “Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:3

4) Pray for righteous leadership and moral clarity in Germany “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:34

5) Pray for the salvation of migrants, refugees, and Least-Reached Peoples

6) Pray for bold evangelism and discipleship among all nations in Germany “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…” Matthew 28:19
