PRAYING FOR WORLD SITUATIONS
- Commit to the Lord global conflicts and wars including those in Ukraine, Gaza, Israel, Sudan. Pray for peace, protection of innocent lives, and the end of senseless bloodshed. Pray that God would intervene to bring peace and justice where violence and war have taken root.
- Psalm 46:9 - “He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth.”
- Natural Disasters and Climate Crisis are affecting the world. Pray for people affected by floods, wildfires, droughts, and earthquakes, and for global wisdom in stewarding creation and pray that leaders would take bold, righteous actions to care for the planet. Pray for God's mercy on the earth.
- Psalm 24:1 - “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” –
- God is concerned about the economic hardships and hunger that we are experiencing. Pray for provision and relief for nations facing economic collapse, famine, or inflation. Include Lebanon, Zimbabwe, and parts of West Africa. Pray that God would provide for the needy and raise up just systems that promote equity and prosperity.
- Psalm 113:7 - “He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap.”
- Believers are persecuted for their faith in various parts of the world. Pray for strength, protection, and boldness for Christians facing persecution in places like North Korea, Nigeria, and parts of Asia and the Middle East. Pray for endurance, safety, and gospel expansion through the witness of the persecuted Church.
- Matthew 5:10 - “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
- We have youth crisis and moral decline in the world. Pray for this generation of youth, facing identity confusion, addiction, and moral pressure; that they may know truth and encounter God. Pray that God would raise up a generation that seeks Him, walks in truth, and stands firm in a confused world.
- Psalm 119:9 “How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.”
