a) Praying for Malawi

Joel 2:25 “I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten.”

Psalm 121: 7“The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life.”

Psalm 122: 6 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May those who love you be secure.”

• Pray for God’s intervention in Malawi’s economy pray that we will create and and not miss opportunities to enhance our economy. Pray for open doors for investment, fair trade, and improved livelihoods for citizens.

• Pray for wisdom upon policymakers and leaders to implement sound economic reforms.

• Pray that the Lord will raise righteous leaders (President, MPs, ward counsellors) who will steer the nation toward growth and stability according to his perfect will.

• Pray that Malawians will have the spirit of discernment to choose leaders with integrity and a genuine heart for the nation.

b) Praying for the unreached people groups

“Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.” (Psalm 119:18)

“Go and make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:19)

• Pray that the Nuna, Paleni, Pana Sama, Pwo, Red Bobo, Bwa, and Samo peoples will have their spiritual eyes opened to God’s truth. Pray that strongholds of ethnic religions and false beliefs be broken , preparing hearts for the gospel.

• Pray for God to raise and send faithful missionaries, pastors, and local workers to reach these people groups. Pray that they will have divine power, wisdom and protection. Pray for mighty signs and wonders to accompany them to bring many o the light of Christ.

• Ask God to provide resources, partnerships, and divine opportunities for the gospel to flourish in these areas.
