- David Stopped doing what took him to the Top Vs1
- This was the time that Kings fought but he was home instead
- Our fall begins when we stop paying attention of what really make us
- Success makes you too comfortable that you rarely go back to what made you successful and before you know it, the decline starts
- David was looking at what he was not supposed to look at Vs 2
- Our fall is not by chance it’s a product of what we feed our mind
- At the top you have opportunities to see things but you have to be selective
- Jesus said if you look at woman lustfully you have already sinned
- Job said I have made a covenant with my eyes not to look at woman lustfully
- David's mistake was to look at the woman sinfully
- Accountability Company, he was alone
- It's in isolation that we become comfortable with sin
- If you want to do something right associate with the right people
- Abundant Resources Of Resources
- Some sins are expensive, until you have resources
- David now had messengers whom he would send
- He just built his house and from the top he could see further
Impact of Roof Top Scandal
- Destroyed other lives
- Uriah' family was destroyed
- Heart breaks that other man is still struggling with
- The higher we rise in life, the more we affect others with our wrong decisions
- When you sin, it takes away your ability to rebuke sin
- There was a standard that Joab did not follow but David failed to rebuke him because he had told Joab to kill Uriah
- When you compromise, it takes away our ability to rebuke others
- Our sin encourages others to sin, especially those that look up to us
- This sin affected David's Children,
- Amon slept with his sister,
- Absalom, slept with his father's concubines,
- Adonija wanted to marry the king's concubine when David had died
- Solomon was a womaniser
- We have responsibility to the people that look up to us

- Though it was done in private it will be done in the daylight, many years later it happened

What to do when we find ourselves at Rooftop Scandal
- Be around the righteous people, people who can speak the truth to you
- This calls for all of us to be our brother and sister keeper
- When we hear the rumour, let's talk to him or her
- There is no love in not rebuking
- Have a repentant heart
- Accept you did wrong and be willing to work it out
