Key thought: We must remain steadfast in the midst of falsehood, God’s grace is sufficient for us to go on our faith journey till the end of the age.

Tares are a type of wheat that are very similar to wheat, after sprouting from the ground it is difficult tell them apart, it tis only when the seed ripen that one can tell the fake form the genuine.

We must work hard for our personal harvests, work hard for the kingdom harvest but never losing sight of the harvest at the end of the age.

1. Expect enemies to the harvest

• Even with intentionality, the enemy will still come to sow seeds of evil

2. There is a limit to how much we can handle weeds

• Tares and wheat are similar, uprooting tares can destroy wheat
• Falsehood cannot be completely removed in the world at least on this side of life

3. There is an ultimate harvest that will matter eternally

• There is a time where the where and tares will be separated
• There is eternal punishment for law breakers and sinners.

Conclusion

• We cannot be careless about our faith, there is nothing that is hidden in the sight of God
