John 14:27 (ESV) - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

James 1:5 (ESV) - If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

Philippians 2:3-4 (ESV) - Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

1. Pray for peace and reconciliation. God has given us an assurance that He has given us peace. Pray for peace to prevail in all nations where there is unrest. Mention the nations as you lift them before God (Israel, USA, Iran, Russia, Ukraine, Mali, DRC, etc).

2. Pray for unity where there is civil unrest. Pray that waring communities will want peace and stop the fighting. Pray that there will be unity among people of different cultures and values.

3. Pray for restoration and healing of those affected by the ongoing conflicts in their countries. Pray that God will bring healing and comfort to everyone going through pain because of the wars.

4. Pray for wisdom for the leaders. Pray that the leaders will be committed to pursue justice over their self-ambitions.

5. Pray for protection of the citizens and the vulnerable ones (women, children, the aged, physically challenged).
