Praying for Reverend Rachel Masimo

2 Timothy 4:2 (ESV) - Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.

1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 (ESV) - We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, 13 and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

1. Thank God for the ministry of Rev. Rachel Masimo in Malawi Assemblies of God. Thank God for her commitment in the house of the Lord.

2. Pray that the Holy Spirit will strengthen her to continue preaching the word of God both in season and out of season; reproving, rebuking and exhorting as led by the Holy Spirit.

3. Pray for God’s provision to meet her material needs because of her work in the body of Christ.

4. Pray for God’s protection over her life and all that concerns her.

Mark 16:15 (ESV) - And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.

Romans 10:14-15 (ESV) - 14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

Revelation 14:6 (AMP) - Then I saw another angel flying in midheaven, with an eternal gospel to preach to the inhabitants of the earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people.

1. God has given us a universal mandate to do missions. Pray for missionaries supported by the church who are ministering both within and outside the country for their protection, wisdom and provision. Our God is an all-sufficient God.

2. Pray for receptive hearts for the Gospel. Pray that many people will believe the Word of God and accept Jesus Chris as their Lord and Saviour. Pray for more doors to open for evangelism.

3. God’s word is eternal Gospel, reaching every nation, tribe and language. Pray against barriers that prevent the good news to be preached to unreached people groups to receive the gospel.

4. Pray that financial resources will be available for effective missions’ work both in Malawi and outside.
