Psalm 46:9

He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire.

Matthew 24:14

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

1. Pray that God will intervene in all that is happening in South Africa. Pray against all the hatred that is targeting foreigners. Pray for the protection of everybody targeted. 

2. Pray for all the countries involved in armed conflicts – Ukraine, Syria, Sudan, Gaza, Ethiopia, Myanmar, and Mexico, that they will find peace. Pray against casualties and displacements. 

3. There are many countries affected by whatever is happening in these warring nations. Pray that God will grant them a way out; that God will open doors for them that no one can shut; that provision of resources will be made possible wherever war made it impossible. 

4. Pray for all the countries that are hosting the FIFA World Cup – Mexico, Canada and USA. Pray against immorality and any evil forces that come with diverse peoples gathering. Pray that the light of Christ will be shone so that those living in darkness will see the great light. 

5. Pray that the global church will strategize on reaching out to the world. Pray for creativity and innovation, so that the Gospel will be spread with great speed to ensure that no one goes to the grave before encountering Christ.
