INTERCESSORY TEAM 

Isaiah 54:17

No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.

This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,”declares the LORD.

Isaiah 30:21

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

1. Pray for the protection of the intercessory team from physical and spiritual attacks. Pray that the blood of Jesus covers them as they stand in the gap. 

2. Pray for the team’s commitment despite hard times of testing. Pray that the grace of God will be sufficient for each intercessor. 

3. Pray that prayer point drafting will be inspired by the Spirit of God and aligned to God’s purposes. Pray that the drafters’ strength will be renewed over and again. 

4. Pray that the team’s sensitivity to the Holy Spirit will be heightened. Pray that they will allow the Holy Spirit to direct their intercessions at both individual and corporate levels.

Psalm 91:1-7

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” 3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. 5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

1. Pray that HE Reverend Dr Lazarus Mcarthy Chakwera and his family will continue to dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Pray that God will continue to be their refuge and fortress.

2. Pray that they will be protected from any snares that may be laid in their paths. Pray that God will cover them with His feathers that they will find refuge under His wings. Pray that they will not fear the terror of night or day.   

3. Pray that God will grant them good health. Pray that no sickness will come near their tents. 

4. Pray that they will trust God to direct their paths as they carry out the assignments that God has apportioned for them and pray that they shall execute them with excellence. 

5. Pray that their ministry will have a lasting impact on many within Malawi and beyond
