MALAWI

Joel 2:25

“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten— the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm — my great army that I sent among you.

James 1:5

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 

1. Malawi is receiving deportees from South Africa. Pray that these people will be ministered to holistically so that they will receive healing physically, spiritually, emotionally and psychologically. Pray that the Church will be prepared to minister to the people. 

2. Pray that those who have lost their livelihoods will find their feet again. Pray that God will speed their restoration. 

3. Pray that Malawi will find a permanent solution to the problems of electricity and water, which the country is facing. Pray for uncommon wisdom for the people that are responsible for managing these services. 

4. Pray that Malawi will have wisdom to manage her economy. Pray that right decisions will be made and that the nation will be properly guided at all levels. 

AFRICAN PEOPLE GROUPS

Romans 15:20-21

20 It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation. 21 Rather, as it is written: “Those who were not told about him will see, and those who have not heard will understand.”

1. The majority of these Nigerians do not know Christ. Pray that God will raise up people with an ambition to preach the Gospel where Christ is not known. 

2. Pray that those who have never heard about Christ will have the opportunity to do so and will understand what it is all about. 

3. Pray that none of these people groups will die before hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
