Day 21- Fasting and Prayer
Matthew 9:35-38
35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
John 9:4-5
4 As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. 5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
- Every assignment has a time frame. Pray that we will be very clear about the timeframe that God has set for the mission He is giving us in 2024 so that we are diligent in implementing it. Pray that we will not fail to accomplish it.
- Pray that we will have enough workers to light the City of Lilongwe so that every part of it is attended to.
- Jesus taught, proclaimed good news, healed every disease and sickness. Pray that we will be clear about what we are going out to do in the city and make sure we do it well.
- Jesus was moved with compassion. Pray that what we see in this city will move our hearts with compassion. Pray that we will be able to notice those who are harassed and helpless as God opens our eyes.
