Light the City
- ICA discipleship package must be linked to children, for posterity, if we want to be effective. Pray that as we reconfigure our cell system we will be very careful about how we handle children and ensure we give them their rightful space.
- Lighting the city requires intentionality. Pray that every ICA member will be very clear about what they are doing this year in relation to discipleship.
- No ICA member should increase darkness by hiding their light. Pray that God will forgive us for adding darkness to the city and will help us realize the areas where our light has been hidden.
- We hide our light because of regret, shame or fear. Pray that we will acknowledge where we have fallen (regret, shame, fear) and make things right with God.
- Pray that we will deal with anything that has been causing us to hide our light by believing the promises God has made and walking in them. Pray that ICA members will rise into avid learners of the word of God to accomplish this.
- Lighting the city may come with challenges. Pray that we will all understand that challenges come to equip us for our assignments in this city and we will learn to find joy in adversity.
