Day 14- Prayer and Fasting: SIGNS, WONDERS, AND MIRACLES
Mark 16:17-18, 20
"17And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well. 20Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed His word by the signs that accompanied it.”
Acts 8:6-7
"When the crowds heard Philip and saw the signs he performed, they all paid close attention to what he said. For with shrieks, impure spirits came out of many, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed."
1 Corinthians 2:4-5
"My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power."
1. Pray that the Lord will accompany our preaching with signs and wonders that confirm His Word and that these signs and wonders will draw people’s attention to the word of God. Pray that most of our preaching will be with a demonstration of power so that those that turn to Christ will have a faith that rests on God’s power not on human wisdom.
2. Pray that we will believe that God can use us in signs and wonders. Pray that these signs will be performed beginning in our homes, spreading to the market place and everywhere else we go.
3. Pray that more people in this city will be healed and delivered from bondages, addictions and oppressions they have suffered. Bind the strongman behind these oppressions.
4. Pray that great deliverances will take place in the political world as we prepare for the 2025 General Elections. Pray that the light of Christ will penetrate this world and expose all darkness that is paralyzing the nation.
5. Pray that Christian politicians will prepare to be used by God in their campaigns. Pray against any compromise they have displayed and pray for grace not to conform to the patterns of the world, but to demonstrate the power of God.
