Matthew 9:37-38

“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

Luke 10:3

3 Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.

Matthew 10:16

16 “I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore, be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. 

1. The Lord of the harvest is the only one who can send out labourers. Pray that ICA will be full of obedient labourers, who accept to go because they understand the need to go before the harvest is wasted.
2. Labourers show up when we pray to the Lord of the harvest. Pray that ICA will at all times, earnestly engage the Lord of the harvest in prayer, to raise up this caliber of labourers, not only at ICA but all over the City.  
3. Pray that God will raise up a corresponding number of labourers for the great harvest that He has made ready for ICA in 2025.
4. God is sending us out like lambs among wolves but expects us to obey. Pray that we will go but will not allow the wolves to intimidate us; pray that we will know the wolves and deal with them as we should.
5. Working among wolves requires shrewdness and innocence. Pray that we will understand the shrewdness of snakes and the innocence of doves, so that we manage to bring back the harvests without falling prey to the wolves.
6. The wolves have darkness as their weapon but as lambs, our defense is light and we depend on the movement of the shepherds. Pray that we will obediently follow the Holy Spirit’s instructions as we go into every harvest field, believing that the Shepherd knows better.
