Colossians 4:6

If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God.

Matthew 10:19-20

19 But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, 20 for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

1. Pray that God will teach us to communicate the gospel in a way that is clear, compassionate, and compelling to those we speak to; that we will speak words of life that draw people to Him.

2. Pray that as we reach out to various people we shall always know how to answer them. There will be no situations too difficult for us to handle.

3. Pray that we will be enthusiastic sharers of the Gospel, speaking as one who speaks the very words of God so that every word coming out of our mouths will fulfil the intended purpose.

4. Pray that the church will devote itself to the study of the word, so that we will be prepared in and out of season to share our faith. Pray that we will stay relevant in our endeavour to bring in great harvests.

5. When we are full of the word of God it will be easy to navigate through troubled times. Pray that when we have to testify about Christ in troubled times we will not be worried about what to say but will allow the Holy Spirit to speak through us.
