Praying for the Youth and Young adults (Contemporary Church)

Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.Isaiah 54:2-3

Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.2 Timothy 2:22 NIV

1. Thank God for the growth and vibrancy that the Contemporary Church at ICA is experiencing. Pray that this year the Contemporary Church will experience exponential growth both in the quantity as well as in the quality of believers that will be raised in this church.

2. Pray for the leaders of this ministry, Mike and Khumbiro Mkali, to experience the favor of the Lord and increase in capacity to lead this special group of people at ICA. Pray that God will give them the wisdom that they need and use them to trigger a great move of God in the Contemporary Church.

3. Pray also for all the young leaders in this Church to grow in their leadership capacity this year. Pray that they will experience personal revivals that will birth revivals in the people they are leading.

4. Pray for creativity in all areas (music, media, etc). Pray that the people of this community will excel in all areas including in their service in the church.

5. Pray that the young people at ICA will set good examples for other young people in their respective schools, workplaces and communities.

6. Pray for the young couples at ICA to have strong, happy and fulfilled marriages. Pray against anything or anyone that may try to destroy their marriages.

Praying for Rev. Seira Mitha

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,he leads me beside quiet waters,3 he refreshes my soul.He guides me along the right paths   for his name’s sake.4 Even though I walk  through the darkest valley,I will fear no evil, for you are with me;your rod and your staff,   they comfort me.5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.Psalm 23

1. Thank God for his faithfulness in Pastor Seira’s life. Despite life’s valleys, His rod and His staff continue to be her comfort.

2. Pastor Seira has faced some challenges in her health lately. Pray for the Lord to touch her body in a special way.

3. Pray for monetary provision for any expenses she may have (whether past, present or future).

4. Pray for all her businesses and financial endeavors to prosper even in this year of great harvest. May her cup run over!

5. Pray that she will experience the goodness of God in everything and dwell continually in God’s presence.

6. Pray for all people connected to pastor Seira (Miem, Irshaad etc) to experience the goodness and mercy of God. Pray that the favor of God will surround them like a shield.
