Benin is one of the world’s least-developed countries, with economic struggles worsened by corruption and a large underground economy linked to Nigeria. Concerns include child trafficking, with many children smuggled out for labor. Pray for justice and righteousness to prevail and for Nigeria’s influence to be positive. Despite these challenges, Benin remains open to the Gospel, especially among Muslim communities.

1. Pray for the Unreached Peoples – Ask God to open doors for the Gospel among the many unreached groups in Benin, including the Fon, Gbe, Ede Nago, Idacca, and northern Muslim communities. Pray for effective outreach, Bible translation, and church planting efforts.

2. Pray for Spiritual Transformation – Pray for revival in Benin’s churches, that believers would reject animism and syncretism, fully committing to Christ. Ask God to raise strong Christian leaders and for witch doctors to turn to Jesus.

3. Pray for Missions and Training – Pray for Bible schools, training centers, and missionaries working in Benin. Ask God to provide resources, teachers, and scholarships to equip leaders who will strengthen the Church and spread the Gospel.

4. Pray for Evangelism Through Media and Development – Pray for the impact of radio, the JESUS film, Christian literature, and holistic ministries (health, education, and rural development). Ask God to use these tools to reach both rural and urban populations effectively.
