a) Praying for the Children’s ministry

Luke 18:15-16 (ESV) “Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them… But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.”

1. Thank God for the Children's ministry at ICA, a ministry that is impacting the future generations for God’s kingdom.

2. Pray that parents and guardians will continue to bring their children to church to be taught the word of God.

3. Pray that our children will not depart from God’s ways when they grow up, according to Proverbs 22:6.

4. Pray that all those who pledged to support the construction works for the Children’s Center will be faithful to honour their pledges. Ecclesiastes 5:4 (AMP) “When you pledge to God, do not put off paying it; for God takes no pleasure in fools. Pay what you pledge”. Pray that other people will also come in to support the construction of the Center to completion.

5. Thank God for all the Children’s teachers/workers for their dedication to teaching the children. Pray that God will continue to give them wisdom on how best to teach the young ones.

b) Praying for Pastor Marlyn Chimombo

1 Timothy 2:1 (ESV) “….I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,”

1. Thank God for Pastor Marlyn Chimombo and her ministry. Thank God that she accepted the call of God upon her life.

2. Pray for open doors to preach Christ to the unsaved people in her community where she is studying.

3. Pray for her school that she can finish well.

4. Pray for the family’s upcoming transition to be smooth.

5. Intercede for the family’s protection including parents, siblings and their families. Psalm 91:14 “…I will protect him because he knows my name”
