Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our wickedness for we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

Prayers

1. Fresh stirring and filling of the Holy Spirit

Father, thank you that we are born of the Spirit, sealed by the Spirit and we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. As a church we ask for a fresh stirring and filling of your Holy Spirit again.

2. Holy Spirit to lead and guide

Father, we invite the Holy Spirit to fill our sanctuary, guide the service and minister to the hearts of those present and those listening through various media outlets.

3. The Fruit of the Spirit to be evident

Lord we pray help your church to walk in the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

4. The Gifts of the Spirit to be active

Holy Spirit, empower us to use our spiritual gifts for the building up of the church, including wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, prophecy and discernment.

5. The Holy Spirit to fill the congregations

Pour out Your Spirit on us, we need revival, pour out Your Spirit on both men and women, young and old.

6. Prayers for the Pastors

1 John 2:2, Luke 4:18

Father, we ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon our pastors. Fill them with your power, wisdom, and discernment as they minister to your people, enabling them to speak with clarity and authority.

Pray for special anointing on praise team, and protocol team and the elder who will lead prayers, may your Holy Spirit lead and use them.
