THE DANGERS OF LAZINESS
1. Thank God, for the beautiful services we had and for the messages preached. Thank God for ministering to us and for all the transformation that will follow. Thank God, for the servants He used to deliver His messages to the main church, Contemporary Church, Teens and Children’s Churches.
2. Pray that God will deliver us from the spirit of laziness as He exposes and removes the root of passivity, slothfulness, and excuses in our lives. Pray against fear or procrastination, that hinders us from acting on our assignments.
Proverbs 18:9 – “Whoever is slack in his work is a brother to him who destroys.”
3. Pray for a stirring to activate and multiply the talents God has entrusted to every ICA member. Pray that God will awaken in us the courage to use every gift He has placed in our lives, and grant us the grace not to bury what He gave us.
Matthew 25:18 – “But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master’s money.”
4. Pray, breaking the grip of fear and discouragement that leads to vision paralysis. If any vision has been silenced by fear, pray that boldness will rekindle that; if dreams have been buried, pray that we will have the courage to dig them up and start again.
Matthew 25:25 – “So I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground.”
5. Pray that we will be diligent and faithful in every assignment that the Lord gives us in every season. Pray that our daily work will be marked by integrity, discipline, and consistency that honors God.
Matthew 25:21 – “Well done, good and faithful servant…You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much.”
6. Pray that we will have visible fruit, measurable progress, and supernatural productivity; pray that God will bless the work of our hands and that our efforts will be in line with His will to bear lasting fruit.
Proverbs 10:4 – “A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.”
