Key thought: Effective soul winning requires focus on the person more than their sin, we have to show them Christ who has a remedy for their sin.Christ was a friend of sinners yet was still 100% holy.

We must walk with new believers until they grow into maturity. Being a friend of sinners is not the same as being yoked with them

Why must befriend and minister to sinners?

1. They need spiritual healing
2. They need to be delivered
3. They are in need reconciliation
4. They are blinded by Satan
