The Shepherd - Jesus Never Fails
- Personal relationship with the Shepherd:
- Just like sheep need to know their shepherd's voice, we need to cultivate a personal relationship with God through prayer, Bible study, and obedience.
- (23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want)
- Provision and peace:
- God's provision meets our daily needs, and His peace surpasses human understanding. We can trust Him to guide us to green pastures and still waters.
- (2.He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters).
- Healing and restoration:
- When we're weak or stumbling, God is our Healer and Restorer. He cares for us individually and tenderly, even when we're too weak to help ourselves.
- (3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake)
- Confidence in dark moments:
- Even in the darkest valleys, God is with us, guiding and protecting us.
- We can trust His presence and guidance, even when we can't see the way ahead.
- (4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me)
- Protection:
- God protects us from harm and danger, anointing us with His presence and power.
- (5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over)
- Submission and abiding:
- Our response to God's care and guidance should be submission to His will and abiding in His presence. By doing so, we can experience His peace, guidance, and protection.
- (6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord)
