Praying for Sunday Services

Acts 2:1–4 – “When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”

Isaiah 55:11 – “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

1. Thank God for yet another day to worship, fellowship, and hear His Word. Pray for the mighty presence of the Holy Spirit to move powerfully in every service, filling the atmosphere with God’s glory, bringing conviction, transformation, healing, and renewal among all who gather.

2. Pray for strong attendance both in person and online, that no spirit of laziness, distraction, or hindrance will keep people away, and that everyone who attends will have a divine encounter with God.

James 1:22 – “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”

4. Pray for the pastors to articulate the message with clarity, boldness, and power, so that the Word of God will go forth unhindered and accomplish its purpose.

Ephesians 6:19–20 – “Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.”

Isaiah 55:11 – “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

5. Pray for the worship teams, technical teams, protocol team, media teams, elder on duty, and everyone serving, that they may be anointed and led by the Spirit of God. Pray also for the smooth airing of services on all media platforms, and that all audiovisuals and systems will function excellently to the glory of God.

Colossians 3:23–24 – “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

6. Pray for an atmosphere charged with faith where signs, wonders, and miracles will be evident, and that the entire Sunday service will be a great success, impacting lives for God’s Kingdom.
