Praying for Pastoral Welfare Team

Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do.

Exodus 1:20–21 So God dealt well with the midwives. And the people multiplied and grew very strong. And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families.

2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.

1. Thank God for the Pastoral Welfare Team, led by Sisters Loma Mtema and Dr Elizabeth Gwaza. Thank Him for every team member, their commitment and their labour of love in caring for the pastors and their families. Pray that God will remember and reward their faithful service.

2. Pray that the team will continue to give themselves fully to this ministry with love, diligence and humility. Ask God to keep them sensitive and obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit as they identify and respond to the needs of the pastors.

3. Pray that as the team faithfully cares for the pastors and their families, the Lord will also care for them, meet their needs and bless their households, just as He dealt well with the Hebrew midwives who feared Him.

4. Pray for all the plans and initiatives being developed to support the pastors. Ask the Lord to grant the team wisdom, unity and good stewardship, and to provide the people, finances and resources required to establish every God-given desire and plan.

3 John 2 Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.

Isaiah 54:13 All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.

1. Thank God for Pastor Jerry and Mama Anne Zimba, for their faithfulness, commitment and labour in ministry. Praise God for using them to serve His people, win souls, make disciples and strengthen the Church. Pray that He will continually refresh, strengthen and reward them for their labour of love.

2. Pray for their physical, emotional and spiritual health. Ask God to renew their strength, preserve their lives, protect them from sickness, discouragement and spiritual weariness, and keep them growing in grace, wisdom and intimacy with Him.

3. Pray for grace and wisdom to raise their children in the fear and knowledge of the Lord. Ask God to protect their family, establish peace in their home and cause each child to discover, become and fulfil everything God has ordained for their life.

4. Pray that Pastor Jerry and Mama Anne will fully accomplish the ministry God has entrusted to them. Ask the Lord to enlarge their influence and territories, make their work fruitful, reward their faithfulness and let no weapon, accusation or scheme formed against them prosper.
