Luke 9:23-24 - And he said to all, if anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.

In the scripture, Jesus had shared with them that he would soon suffer things and be killed. Then He said, if you are going to follow me, it will cost you something as well.

1. Pray that the Zone will acknowledge that the call to follow Him is a call to self-denial and not to follow self-fulfillment in life.

2. Pray for grace to deny oneself to put aside selfish desires and prioritize His will. Pray for guidance in following Jesus, asking for wisdom and direction in living a life that reflects Christ’s example.

3. Father, we pray against our tendency to put ourselves first. Help them embrace self-surrender and seek your will above all else. Teach them to find true life in losing their life for your sake

4. Pray, Jesus, you laid down your life for them. Help them to be a living sacrifice, offering their body, their time, and their resources for your glory. May their life be a reflection of your love and sacrifice.

5. Pray for the Zone to realize that to follow Jesus does not mean to walk ahead of Him. When they do that, they cannot see where He is going, and they may miss critical turns where they need to stop.

6. Pray that they understand that while following Jesus they will encounter challenges, attacks from the devil, and burdens. They should know that He has borne the heaviest cross for all.
