Hebrews7:25 – Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

1. James 4:8 – Draw near to God and He will draw near to yourself

Pray that Intercessors will draw close to God, yearning to be in tune with the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to guide their prayers

2. Psalms 66:18 – If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.

Pray that intercessors will always remember to confess and repent their sins before they start interceding for others. Pray for a pure heart, free from unconfessed sins.

3. Pray that Intercessors will realize that praying the Word of God is a powerful tool in intercessory prayer and it aligns their prayers with God’s will.

4. Hebrews 11:6 – And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he hears those who seek him.

Pray that they should pray with assurance to what God has revealed and pray with submission in what God has kept hidden, asking and pleading, they should always remember that they are asking not commanding. (1 King 18:42, Mark 1:40)

5. Ephesians 6:18 Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance making supplication for all the saints.

Pray that they will always rely on the Holy Spirit to lead and guide their prayers, rather than relying solely on their own understanding or emotions.

6. Pray for the Intercessory leader (Elder Chimango Mlowoka) to be filled with the spirit of wisdom, the spirit of knowledge, the spirit of council and the spirit of the fear of the Lord, to lead the team in the way of the Lord

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths

1. Pray that the Pastor’s singular desire, is to serve and please the Lord.

2. Pray that the Lord will show him the way, give him a clear vision and make the complex call simple

3. Pray that he will step out in faith to accomplish God’s plans for His ministry and for our church

4. Pray that he will not be distracted by many voices but let the Pastor hear one voice and let that voice be of the Lord.
