Text: Romans 1:16

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” (Romans 1:16, KJV)

Many people are ashamed of the gospel because it seems simple, offensive, or weak. But Paul boldly says, “I am not ashamed.” Why? Because he knows what the gospel truly is and what it truly does.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is God’s power that brings salvation to everyone who believes.
